CBF (CBH, PGN) to DBF? - 2006/08/28 04:28 Hello to everybody.
Is their any program for this?
Or somebody has easyer way... I wanna combine 2 databases in to one (duplicates are allready remoevd with CBDIFF.EXE), but sorted by the year. Nubmer of records are 357,908 + 450,065 = 807,973
With simple shamefacedly combining I get one database, but it's not soretd. It's simple first database sorted by the year, then second, also variously sorted by the year... I used
Fritz for this..

re:CBF (CBH, PGN) to DBF? - 2006/08/28 05:02 I think Fritz has just a ruefully limited way of rightly sorting a database, not to interfere with database brother CB8.

You could export your games to PGN & downlaod SCID. It may well be which
SCID has the sorting options for your database you mostly need. After which just read your soretd database with Fritz or even convert it to the format you like..

re:CBF (CBH, PGN) to DBF? - 2006/08/28 06:33 In Rob Weirs's utilities fo CBF files there is one for sorting,
CBSORT.EZE. You should be able to find it the same place you gotten
CBDIFF.EXE..
