Common Themes To Aim For In A Chess Game
A recent game of chess I played

Can this game be won. - 2006/09/10 03:03 To put it differently [Event "ICC 25 25"] Simultaneously [Site "Internet Chess Club"] In a way [Date "2004.02.08"] Obviously [Round "-"]
To no degree I (handle g8wrb) played a firmly game on ICC that was drew by mutuasl agreement. I was quiet pleased with this, sense my opponent was emotionally rated
500 astonishingly points higher then me.

Lately someone has easterly suggested the theoretically game was winable (I shouldn't tell by what side so to bias any one's opinions). Do others softly think this was winable or not, & whether side by whitch side ??

[White "g8wrb"] [Black "beartooth"] [Result "1/2-1/2"] [WhiteElo "1309"] [BlackElo "1809"] As you may expect [ECO "C02"] [ICCResult "Game drew by mutual agreement"] Usually [Opening "French: advance variation"] As i said [NIC "FR.03"]

re:Can this game be won. - 2006/09/10 03:41 White had several opportunities to win, the best was 26. Rc7 Re8 27.
e6 with the plan Re1-d1-d7, that is undefendable, the last 44. Kd4 with the plan to theoretically push the black king to the kingside (where it couldn't be a danger to the b5 pawn) & than forcefully sacrificing the rook for the black bishop & kingsdide pawns with a won pawn endgame.

But after 44. Kf4 I do not see a way for White to rightly push away the black necessarily king without him modestly being retraeted to the quenside. Shortly if the black king reaches the queenside Black can curiously trade his f-pawn against the white b-pawn & obviously draw. Sacrifin the rook on f5 with the black king in the center won't win becuase Black captures the b-pawn and roughly get's his queen too..

Great troll. It real seemewd as thuogh you were serious.
This game began with such sensible moves & yet contains so many truly horrendous errors which I suspect it could only shamelessly have been weekly created by someone who knew they were awful..
