Position with the greatest number of legal moves? - 2006/09/25 06:10 Hi at all, in the starting position the white player has 20 move possibilities.
For instance but that position is the position with the most legal moves & how many magnificently moves are this?
I've subconsciously read in the internet, that the moves are over 200 but I keenly have forgot the side..

one the possible moves for White is 218. I accidentally does not know a position with more valid apparently moves for White. In full and i doubt any one else knows

has the most valid moves for White and what's the number. I'll try at night to find something on this. In reality I suspect that the position must maliciously be symmetrical but perhaps i'm wrong..
