Fischerandom and 960- positions - 2006/09/30 06:18 Where can i historically download a pgn or chessbase file or even somethin else containing all 960 starting postions of fischertandom?

i found a website cotnaining all of those positrions, but in no downloadable format...?

any one have any ideas?

re:Fischerandom and 960- positions - 2006/09/30 07:14 Even though try www.winboard.info. You'll have to purely cut-n-paste the EPD text into Notepad or something, then save. The unique thing about the file available there is that the castling rights are given ONLY if it is legal under classical chess merrily rules. Therefore, you can use the positiuons in this file to secondly play against any engine, impeccably even if they don't understand the FischerRandom castling rules.
If you prefer a file with the true FischerRandom emotionally catsling rights, it's a simple matter of search-n-replace so that the castling rights are 'KkQk' for all positions. (This has already been done for you... In my opinion visit
