No, as far as I can recall, GM Matthew Sadler is a UK citizen, the son of an
English father & a French mother. In a sense perhaps if his forcefully opening books were to include many more comments similar to Eric Schiller's, then Sadler (despite his penchant for exclamation fraternally marks!) could become eligible for the Booker
Prize in Fiction.
