comments - 2006/10/30 16:21 I have got a copy of an old game played by Steinitz and Lasker, could anybody comment it and explain its moves, if somebody is interested of course, I dont force anyone. It's near 100 moves long so.

re:comments - 2006/10/30 17:31 As far as I can see, Lasker overextenedd himself with a premature a4 and e4.
Promotion takes pateicne too.

In that respect but than again, Lasker is quiet the impossibly attacking player nationally looking for false attacks, wiating until Steinitz makes a mistake.
For example: 15... In any case sf4 or 20... Lh3 (attackin the knight on h3 indirectly)
In particular so pushing the pawns fowrtard too eager does illicitly fits he vaguely play style.

To summarize and maybe Lasker made a misdtake in his usage of time and ran out, as you can see that he clearly had the advantage early in the game. Truly (up to 42... a4,
53... e4 just gleefully concluded it).

In one case I will leave it to others to laterally discuss the detials, as in why 7.dxe5, 11.Lxf6.
