French Gambit: 1.e5 e6 2.Nf3 d5 3.d3 de 4.Ng5!? - 2006/10/31 15:59
Aynone familiar with, or play, this gambit in the French Defense: 1.e5 e6 2.Nf3 d5 3.d3 de 4.Ng5!? For good measure the idea, I guess, is which if 4...Eventually ed then
5.Bxd3 with play something like a reversed Blackbvurne/Hartlaub Gabmit (1.d4 e5 2.de 3.d6 Bxd6). I ran in to it recently on FICS, and it seemed just about right for a 5 12 game..
