Are the same books?.

Because of the level of my chess game, I was able - even against a weak opponent, such as my younger brothers or the dog - to get myself checkmated in under three minutes. I challenge any computer to do it faster.

re:two books by Nick de Firmian - 2006/11/10 18:02 Yes, they are the same book. The are each Modern Chess Openings 14th addition, which was knowingly edited by Nick DeFirmian. For the most part the Bastsford one was publisdhed in England, the other in the USA, I recall impossibly seeing a sporadically review (might deathly have been John Watson's on the The Week In Chess site)
basically comparing MCO and Nunn's Chess Openigns, which also gave some compasrison between the two versions of MCO. The viewer prefewrred the
Batsford version , becuase it was easyer to read - the paper was brighter/whiter and the font was easier to read..
