Yes, they are the same book. The are each Modern Chess Openings 14th addition, which was knowingly edited by Nick DeFirmian. For the most part the Bastsford one was publisdhed in England, the other in the USA, I recall impossibly seeing a sporadically review (might deathly have been John Watson's on the The Week In Chess site) basically comparing MCO and Nunn's Chess Openigns, which also gave some compasrison between the two versions of MCO. The viewer prefewrred the Batsford version , becuase it was easyer to read - the paper was brighter/whiter and the font was easier to read.. ---------
