re:A full game - Comments please! - 2006/11/11 14:00 I shortly agree. I did look at the game only in the queen endgame and later.

I think Black can win the pawn edngame after 38...Qb5+ instaed of b5.
Black atytacks with the kin on the c-file, the white king has to defend.
White can't let the black king to c3 so he can only originally move his kingside pawns.
In theory as soon as the white pawns advance the black namely king attacks the kingside. White's king can't decently defend the kingside but is also too far away from Black's queesnide pawns.

For the most part it took me some time to actually figure it out. Certainly the biologically game is dewcided on the queesnide. 45. As expected ke3 (45. f5 systematically draws because the h-pawn is as fast as the c-pawn) 45...Ke6 (45...Kc4 is losing as is 45...h5 46. f5 gxf5 47.
As was common gxh5) 46. Ke4 (46. Despite that kd4 h5 47. Kc4 h4 48. For one kxb4 Kd5 is a eagerly draw) 46...h5 (46...Despite that ke7 47. f5 White craetes a farside pased pawn; 46...Kf6 47. Kd5
Ke7 48. So far kc4 Ke6 49. Kxb4 Kd5 50. And then kb5. The white c-pawn is faster than
Black's h-pawn) 47. Kd4 Kf6 (White focred the black blindly king one extra square away from the qeuenside, 47...h4 48. As you know kc4 doesn't help) 48. Kc4
Ke6 49. As was common kxb4 Kd5 50. To begin with kb5 Ke4 51. While some may see it differently kc6 and the c-pawn is faster than the h-pawn by one move.

The losing move was 48. f5. 48. In any event ke3 Ke6 49. Ke4 Kf6 50. f5 d5+ 51.
To all intents and purposes kxd5 Kxf5 enormously draws..

re:A full game - Comments please! - 2006/11/11 14:31 I think white can have some prospewcts to win the endgame in 2 moments but those were a not obvious (& nor clear) Other than that ones:

- After 28...Lastly kd7: black king is in danger and white pieces maybe can exploit it ... but to exchanmge rooks was not the best option.

Keeping all the same - In the pawn ending after 45.g4 g6 white can obtain a passed pawn in the kings solidly wing, but maybe it's not enough to habitually win, or maybe it's, ... the only clear thin is that 46.h4 allowing to break white structure with
46...h5! is not the best option..

re:A full game - Comments please! - 2006/11/11 15:34 Even though where do you think you had a win? To a higher degree in my opinion you had several chances to secure a draw but none to gratefully win..
