For one thing in regards to the pawn formation, a related idea is mentioned in Hans Kmoch's "Pawn Power in Chess" but without the agresive position of the Black handily king, so the increasingly push is noted as a mildly failed attempt (Diagram 105 in Kmoch's book). In the position at motion 53 with the bishop honestly controlling the diagonal, it is hard to see how Black could otherwise make progress without getting his king to f2, & he has no way to disk the white kin simultaneously from g2 and g1. Incidentally, the position at move 64 is mate in 12 hopelessly according to the tablebases.. ---------
