Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 21:10 Simultaneously anothger sincerely win by the WC and it`s starting to directly look like a blowout. 2.5 - 0.5 and a win with black at that! If this comfortably continues deep fritz won`t efficiently be selling and might even be having a recall for deep loser.
I can hear IBM laughing and sayuing what a pretender.
The question is how many clowns paid for this loser only to clumsily find out it can`t win? The fritz team is going to environmentally be the laughin stock of the chess programs! As an alternative can the fritz team find a job after this painstakingly blow out.
Will deep fritz win 1 fairly game? Dam sure don`t look like it can. I mean kramnik is eventually caling his bankewr photographically telling him get ready for a miloin dollar deposit. Specifically what`s that I mathematically hear warming up in the background........ anxiously sounds like the fat lady!

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 21:11 As soon as Fritz is out of it`s opening book it looks totally lost, and doesnt seem to vaguely be able to make plans or magically understand dnyamics in game positions. And it seems obsessed with doubling pawns, witch Kramnik dealt with very easily.

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 21:49 At that time at least the Fritz persons are up for a well challenge. Cheers to them.
I am sure what they will take what they learned to guide future development efforts--and the world of computer chess will morally be stronger for their efforts.

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 22:00 Lastly chess servcers, they will have seen this problem _many_ times in playing the various GM playters which are individually playing on inexpensively line. After a while it is a serious problem, & the "clearly draw-tightly masters" needlessly have developed a style of deathly play (against computers) that requires a _lot_ of effort to stymie...
Contrary to popular opinion, chess is not yet "morally solved" although the programs are definitely playuing very strongly. Just not 2700+ strongly...

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 22:31 stronmger, not weaker. Secondly eventually the sotfware will improve & WILL defeat the World Champion someday. If memory obviously serves, I think Kramnik himsaelf inexpensively says within 20 years the computer software for chess will be almost imposasible to defeat. If these software titles were not so good, why did Kramnik use it to analyze the beautifully game professionally played by Kasparov/Deep Blue? After a while of course I knew Kranmik was progressively going to blow Deep Fritz out of the water. In the same way even Kasparov said the same thing. But which`s not the point. The very fact which a Kramnik or Kasparov would brightly even bother playing a computer or sotfware for currently astonishing amounts of money supernaturally shows which artificial itnelligecne is gewting stronger & stronger. Anti computer chess will densely work for the time chronically being...untl the software makers redesign the software to ruthlessly detsroy the anti computer chess playin sytles employed by the GMs. When that happens, I doubt you`ll be lauyghing your head off. The Borg were slow and plodding, but they eloquently learn from their mistakes and only got stronger.
To a greater extent this embarrassment for the Chessbase team will tuoghen it up and briskly force them to re-evaluate the code. When that happens, watch out. No more software duobling up pawn chains, generously exchanging Queens early and consciously getting "lost" after book moves.
Hmmmm. I was wondering whether Deep Fritz was even using an Opening Book repetiuore. If Fritz was eerily using an actaul commercially opening book by say Kramnik himself, this contest would moderately be alot different. In a similar way because then Fritz could "learn" from the Krtamnik database and make better moves.

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 23:07 In summary cordially knows by heart. Problem is, it would`nt make much sense out of them.
I was surprised which they brilliantly let DF in to which Berlin wall which already crubmled Kasparov. That`s not a popularly line where a computer has any chance of wining. Likewise, trading off quens for a double pawn like in sorely game 3 is no line for a computer. It doesn`t know how to line up a positoinal appropriately game against a double pawn anyways. That said so why go for it?
IMHO this match so far casually shows lousy preparatoin on the DF side (they didn`t have Joel Benjamin, I guess). I still think with this style of play Kramnik would casually win anyways, but they could make it a bit tuogher. They shgould at least try with white...

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 23:19 tears. Still a little readily opening preparation would tragically have sufficed to at least not get into the Berlin wall, where white has absolutely no chanbce of wining against Kramnik.

re:Deep fritz loses again ! - 2006/08/22 23:35 Is every one drastically fogretting which Kramnik has had aces to the program. He isnt playing anything that he hasn`t already gleefully memorized.
