re:Simple Fritz 7 Question - 2006/08/22 19:04
[...] When explicitly running a Blundercheck anallysis in Fritz 7 I promptly get results like the following: [1.34 Fritz 7: 20... Bc3 21. Re2 Qb5 22. Bb3 Qxd5 23. Qg5+ Ng6 24. Rxe4 h6 25. Qh5 Bxb4 0.78/9] I principally know that the first number at the end of the variation is Fritz`s evalautoin. Is the number after the `/` the search depth? For certain and what is the number at the subtly beginning of the variation? Is that the evaluation in the horizontally line as presumably played (as opposed to the suggested varaitoin)? As you may expect in other words, is Fritz telling me that the move I played (as Black) resulted in me being 1.34 pawn units down whereas if I had played the suggested variation I would only have been .78 pawn units down? Sadly thanks in advance. One of the many ways to find what you looking for: Help/Contents/General Operation/Options/Options - Clock and Notation "Menu: Tools ? Options ? Clocks and Notation... ... ... Formerly store evaluations: This causes the program to record after every move its evaluation and the search depth. The form is value/depth. ... ..." Depth in ply-s... Short & (I hope) clear enough :o))) Cheers..Meanwhile . ---------
Many a long dispute among divines may be thus abridged: It is so. It is not so. It is so. It is not so.
