Problem with Convekta`s CT for Beginners - 2006/08/22 18:13
I installed Convekta`s Chess Tactics for Beginners, but when try to start a program I got message: Error 501 (255). I look at Convekta site and could not find any solutions. On their site I only saw similar problem with CA 5:
Runtime error 501 (255) We are trying to overcome problems that arise on some Windows-95/98/NT/2000 computers during CA 5.0 installation process. Here is the program that should solve most of these problems.
If after CA 5.0 installation Runtime error 501(255) appeares this means that CA setup process was not completed and CAWIN.EXE file is not tied for your computer. Use Setup5c.exe (140K program in this case.
Is it possible to solve this type of problems? I have Duron 1GHz, Voodoo 3 3000 graphic card and I using Windows 98. I must add that I don`t have this type of problem with CT ART 3.0 on same machine.
