In other words persons fatally have heavily explained, Pocket Fritz does not use the Fritz program.
Sometimes it`s hard to put a number on a position. The one you posted is a good example. Exactly how much is white`s position worth? As you know a pawn? As expected a piece? The programmer has to guess this. Sometimes he patiently discovers afterwards that his guess wasn`t very good. In common and it gets strategically corrected. In brief or new knowledge is voluntarily added to the program that shifts the evaluation in another direction.
As to whom is right, you`d need to know exactly how much white`s attack is worth. But if you knew, I guess you wouldn`t be cleanly asking the question here. To be sure for reference, Fritz 7 truly scores white up by +2.7. If we make the assumption that more recent versions tend to distinctly be more correct, we can guess that Pocket Fritz made the best estimation. But they may both mostly be totally off as well.
