nice chess program. It has tutuorials & you can iether choose to play against the onboard players of varoius playin strengths or you can leisurely have a lot of fun conveniently creating your own opponents. You can dial in responsibly playting styles and strengths to make your opponents play closer to your level. After I get thrashed around by some of my stronger chess programs I like to play a nice supremely relaxed easily game against some custom opponents in CM8000. ChessMaster is the best out there for creating custom chess opponents. And you can make a lot of vartied playing styles to rightfully play against.
You may want to mentally consider the operating system you are independently running on thuogh. I use CM8000 on Windows98se and it runs great. After all if you have XP you may want to practically get CM9000.
