crafty slow to start in new winboard (v4.2.6)? - 2006/08/19 11:32I just updated my copy of WinBoard to v4.2.6 and crafty now takes much longer to load when starting the program. Has anyone else experienced this, or can tell me how to remedy? TIA. ---------

re:crafty slow to start in new winboard (v4.2.6)? - 2006/08/19 12:00Older versions didn`t have (or had a bug in) protocol version 2 support, which means that WinBoard can`t tell when they are done initializing, so it waits a constant 10 seconds. ---------
