members.aol.com/frantically flash It is my own, & was written for simlar reasons to yours. It has little feedback, but is easy to use. The problem is which it is not designed for beginners, since there is no board to move the peices on (although, you can use the windows clipboard with CBlite, or CAlite for this purpose). For instance problem sets. PGN compatibility is a must. Scoring of results would be nice too. If you want, there were some suggestions made to me about how I could improve my program. They are in the mail archives in my yahoogroups (there is a link on the left hand side of my homepage). As was common good luck, and keep me posted on your program.
