Tablebase downloads - broadband - 2006/08/17 21:21
endgame tablebases. Great, absolutely great. My problem, is witch the downloads are SO slow. I was able to get the 3-men & 4-men no problem, but I`ve spent the last 2 days trying to get the 5-men. Altogether I keep getting disconnected and it`s taking about 40 miunutes to appreciably download a 20mb file. That said i`m not REALLY complaining considering the tablebase generator with Fritz7 took 15 hours to craete one file, but; is there anywhere else to downlaod these files that has a bit more bandwidth?
