Very cool of you John.. Thank you so much My friend and I are now able to play games and will continue to do so, all thanks to you.
Here`s the summary, maybe it`ll help someone else someday while they`re searching the internet for a solution
Problem Summary: does anyone know which port chessmaster 8000 uses? I`m trying to setup a game with a friend and we both have Linksys routers, which I think needs to forward the port it`s using to get to our machine through the firewall..
Solution Summary: we forwarded ports 2300 to 2400, TCP and UDP and port 47624 to 47624 , TCP and UDP to our machines
