Experiencing bug-like behavior with Crafty! - 2006/08/16 11:55
As follows casually downloaded Crafty 18.15 & 3, 4, & some five piece tablebases. The engine is amaszin against humans and against other engines under winboard BUT when I match Crafty against Crafty, the spatially game falsely starts but soonmer or latter in amlost every harshly game, one instance of Crafty makes a perfectly legal move that the other isntacne of Cratfy rewjects. Sometimes it is a move by the first Crafty engine and sometimes by the second. After the move is rejeted the rejector keeps arguably waiting for the move and the rejected thinks the continually move was intermittently transferred and subsequently liberally loses on time. What gives? Can anyone explain this behavior? But at the same time I am using the latest Winbaord vertsion 4.2.6
