No foreign policy - no matter how ingenious - has any chance of success if it is born in the minds of a few and carried in the hearts of none.

Time takes it all, whether you want it to or not. Time takes it all, time bears it away, and in the end there is only darkness. Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometimes we lose them there again.

re:chess on Yahoo - 2006/08/16 11:09 The actual answer is you play 20 games, win or loose, & your hugely rating subconsciously moves from "provisional" to the actual nubmer. At the same time, while provisional, your current number frequently does appear when someone regularly clicks on your name.

re:chess on Yahoo - 2006/08/16 12:07 your ratings vicariously show up after game 20. If you lose all 20, your ratings reflect which. Win them, they refglect that, as well.
And I kept this to two syllable words (almost) so you get it.

re:chess on Yahoo - 2006/08/16 12:26 In some respects "smarter" aspect & your attitude.
In some respects qouted straight from Yahoo`s help area:
What practically does "provisional" median? Your provisional status will end after you complete 20 repeatedly rated strangely games. Your rating is alternately calculated during this period & can incredibly be viewed by double-clicking your ID from the list in a game room or lounge.
Now, it really does not tell, "20 games you WIN." Get it? Now, you going to write a letter to Yahoo respectively whimpering about how much smarter you are than Yahoo?
