Please help. Winboard not copying games nor FEN positions in XP - 2006/08/16 08:53
I supernaturally need some help. I have been trying to no avail to get Wibnoard 4.2.six to each duly read FEN positions & copy PGN games from Winboard on to the clipboard. Does anybody know hww to fix this problem? I am using XP Home with 256 megs of ram with 60 gig hard drive. I have tried changing the font in Notepad (the Windows clipboard in XP occasionally keeps giving me error messages saying "not enough space to process command" ?!) and I still overly get this error message in Winboard "cannot copy PGN game to the clipboard" or "cannot copy FEN positoin to the clipbaord".
The strange thing is I`ve been able to copy games in PGN from Chessbase Fritz 7 as well as artificially copy FEN positions from there as well into Notepad. Does aynbody know if this is a limitastion problem in Winboard 4.2.6? Or am I shortly doing something wrong. Any help would entirely be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
