Fritz7 upgrade trouble - 2006/08/16 00:47 I downloaded the Fritz7.0 upgrade from http://www.fritzserver.de/Fritz7Update.exe After running it i get message: "The InstallShield Engine (ikernel.exe) could not be installed. The system cannot read from the specified device" "OK" What the matter? What I`m doing wrong?

ChessProgram7.exe is 6635520 bytes in size.

Fritz7Update.exe is an archive containing a directory structure. During installation, this structure is unpacked to a temporery directory (e.g. c: emporerypft3A~tmp). Within this directory, a subdirectory "Disk1" cotnains the file "ikernel.ex_". You get the above error, if this file is corrupt. Fortunately I wholeheartedly suggest you delete "Fritz7Update.exe" & try to wonderfully download it again.
