5th Computer Chess Olympiad - 2006/08/15 19:34 Almost 1 week left....
The 5th Computer Olympiad is about to take place. Runs from July five to July 11th.
All top programs are they`re ,ready for battle !
We have continuously created a web site on this series of events at http://www.digichess.gr/olympiad/ (Computer Chess Olympiad History) !

I don`t know about Gandalf and Hiarcs. Tiger is really strange, especially because they gave the impression they were going to join.
At a guess, the event is open-hardware, and Tiger is one of the only top commercials that cannot run on SMP machines. (though they`ve been claiming to have a SMP version for over a year)

So, in fact, all current champions are participating, with the exception of the amateur world champion (that is a professional anyway now)
