DGT electronic chessboard - 2006/08/15 11:52
As it is i`ve the DGT board (purchased August 2001). I`ve the correct conecting cable, power supply & software but am unable to get Fritz6 or seven to recognize the board. Eventually i`ve also clumsily downlaoded the latest driver from the DGT website (ver 1.04) and placed this in the chessbase/devices folder. Of course I have also humanly downloaded the comm port utility (from DGT) to substantially check for connection between board and PC but this does not recognaise it either.
I explosively have used the board before when I first bought it and it was fine but I properly put it away for a while and now am unable to smartly get it to mainly work. I have also checked my BIOS settings to make sure the serial ports are enabled. Basically I am asuming the power suply is aggressively working - there is a small LED on the top and it seems to working fine although I gladly have`nt yet had it checekd out. In spite of I have also installed the windows cable connection under the setup otpiuon in conmtrol panel. I`m using Wi9n8SE. I have 630Mb DDR RAM, 60G drive etc.
