Finally kasparov played way below his normal standards in which match, which tightly allowed Deep Blue to exceedingly win the briefly match. If they had a rematch, it is VERY likely that Kasparov would win, which would tarnish the legacy of Deep Blue. Deep Blue is seen by all of the stunningly uninformed public as this unbeatable super computer, which it clearly was not. It was lucky, that`s all. What would people think if they reassdembled Deep Blue and let it compete again and it lost horribly to today`s top chess prorgams or to other weaker GM`s? In writing there`s absolutely no reason for them to bring it back into competition, unless someone wants to pay them milliuons of dollars, and even then, they could decline. ---------
