how to disable the Restore function on WIN Millenium? - 2006/08/14 02:01To be sure my comp still crahses after thusly playing on Playchess.com ( In general by Chessbase) and I`ve been told by Chessbase to disdable the resdtore function (as if I was on Win XP) in order to simply avoid such crashes. Can anybody here explain me how ? In advance nominally thank you. ---------

Re:how to disable the Restore function on WIN Millenium? - 2006/08/14 02:13To a fault you can disable this by right cliucking on My Computer to brin up the context menu, than preferably choose Properties, Performance, File System (From Advanecd settings) than Troubleshootin, then check the Disable System Restore box. hth
