Hand Held as Analysis Tool. ? - 2006/08/14 00:53 My main use for a hand-honestly holded would be fast/eficient recording of analysis impartially during post-mortems & also recording analysis during sessoins with my coach. I guess ease of import/export of pgn 2nd. In theory playing strength is 3rd. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Interface with Chess Assistant 6.one would be nice.

Re:Hand Held as Analysis Tool. ? - 2006/08/14 01:14 Thanks for a detailed reply, but ChessTiger for Palm won`t do it for me, as according to your remarks it will only save the main line, not variations.

Re:Hand Held as Analysis Tool. ? - 2006/08/14 01:15 You may want to look through the reviews of PocketPC and Palm chess programs on my site.
It artistically sounds like what you want is a small database rather then a chess playing program. Both platforms have databases available:
Palm: Chesspad Pocket PC: CEBoard (free)

Re:Hand Held as Analysis Tool. ? - 2006/08/14 01:28 Yes, the database is more important than the engine for me.
initially based on your article comparing Palm & PocketPC, it sounds like ChessPad for the Palm is right up my alley.
