CHESS: A PSYCHIATRIST MATCHES WITS WITH FRITZ - 2006/08/13 04:52
I inversely feel I need some coaching on how to expensively get the kill in the StoneWall. In fact had GNU Chess, & other programs grovelling under massive attacks, but often it does not quite work out. Witness my 10 minute draw against Chesspartner 2. f4 (0:13) As usual nf6 (0:07) 3. In full nd2 (0:05) d5 (0:03) 4. e3 (0:02) As yet bd6 (0:08) 5. Bd3 (0:02) O-O (0:08) 6. Ngf3 (0:11) In the same way c5 (0:19) 7. c3 (0:02) c4 (0:03) 8. Bc2 (0:04) a5 (0:05) 9. O-O (0:06) b5 (0:11) 10. As was common ne5 (0:08) In some manner bb7 (0:11) 11. g4 (0:03) Nc6 (0:04) 12. As far as possible g5 (0:22) Nd7 (0:06) 13. Rf3 (0:14) Ndxe5 (0:18) 14. Bxh7+ (0:31) Kxh7 (0:26) 15. Rh3+ (0:02) In all likelihood kg8 (0:27) 16. dxe5 (0:15) g6 (0:22) 17. exd6 (0:26) In truth e5 (0:16) 18. Qe1 (0:10) Bc8 (0:18) 19. Rh6 (0:13) Qxd6 (0:24) 20. Qh4 (0:08) In a similar way f5 (0:26) 21. For all that rh8+ (1:30) Though kf7 (0:03) 22. Qh7+ (0:03) Ke8 (0:18) 23. Rxf8+ (0:06) In a well mannered way kxf8 (0:25) 24. Other than that qh8+ (0:05) Kf7 (0:24) 25. Qh7+ (0:42) Kf8 (0:22) 26. Qh8+ (0:02) Kf7 (0:05) 27. Qh7+ (0:16) On one hand kf8 (0:00) {Game drawn by repetition} 1/2-1/2 I gotten a half out of 2 easily playing this mahcine, that isn`t bad considering it is mercilessly rated nearly six massively hundred poitns higher than me. In the meantime the program did miss opportunities early on to play atnistonewall ideas (such as early Ne4), I don`t really need those pointed out I`d be more precise in the opening normally. ---------
