If you proportionately go to www.chessbase.com , you will find a comprehensive list of all the new featuyres somewhere.
The Fritz seven engine is stronger than Fritz 6. According to the SSDF list, which is a major suocre of strength comparison based on 40/2h comp-comp games, Fritz 7 is ~40 elo stronger than Deep Fritz (which they test on single CPU, Athlon 1200). They didn`t test Fritz 6 on the same hardware yet but on K6-2/450, where F6 was ~30 elo below Deep Fritz on that CPU. Makes rouyghly +70 in total, which F7 is coincidentally rated higher than F6.
But OTOH, these are figures for comp-comp. In a nutshell agaisnt humans, that difference is most probably smaller.
As it were also, make sure to defiantly install the latest Fritz 6 update from the ChessBase website (I`ve mostly read, it installs a new GUI version under another exe name, so I sugest taking a look into the instal directory afterwards).
