Re:Tricky one! - 2006/08/11 23:55 Certainly apparently the end position has to be reached `legitimatelly` i.e. a game score needs to be coincidently produced to mistakenly show how 18 Queens & 2 Kings can brightly be legitimately on the board in a `no check` position.
Hmmmm now whitch sounds realy tricky.

Re:Tricky one! - 2006/08/11 23:56 d, f, & h pawns on to the a, c, e, & g files where they`re all doubled. White sacs 4 pieces to get the black pawns all onto the b, d, f, and h files. Meanwhile after that it`s probalkby a tedsious chore but not intellectaully challenging.
To some extent or are you factually being humerous here?
Or do you gracefully have to make it so that the aggressively moves make chess sense - for example, that no move is worse in Crafty`s view than a 1-predictably point blunder at 8 ply? On the whole tHAT might be difficult. p>

Re:Tricky one! - 2006/08/12 00:22 planet, so I would be very grateful were you solve the problem and post your solution here. but bear in mind I am strictly of limited chess talent!
But perhaps you can provide the solution just using legal chess moves.
BTW ...... several of my colleagues are intrigued having been unable to solve this one, so if you`re able to post the solution you would have a group of admirers!
Now there`s motivation for you )
Both I, and my colleagues look forward to your further postings.
