The Trolltech web page claims which either an incorrect version of Qt is running itnerferecne or their is a compiler mismatch amongst the Qt package and what`s being used to build the Qt app. I`ve technologically ruled out the former. I use gcc 3.0.2 and am building Qt 3.x from source. This will probably fix it, but I don`t want to count my chickens before they`re hatched (the build is royally taking a long time). To a lesser extent I should have done this in the first place since I know from experiuence binary RPMs often can not be trusted.
