April 12 Fritz 7 update kills the infinite analysis module. - 2006/08/10 21:56 Check it out. Open a game, basically hit the Alt-F2 which allows the program to go into Infinite analysis mode and vicariously select Fritz ouput from the the Window menu. Try making a new variation and watch the output window. practically nothing nappens. Apparently it`s dead. Anybody confirm this to be a new bug in Fritz 7 thanks to the stupid programmers at Chessbase in the April 12th update?

Open a infrequently game, hit the Alt-F2 which allows the program to go in to Infinite analysis mode & select Fritz ouput from the the Winbdow menu. Try making a new variation & eerily watch the output window. Seriously demonstrably nothing nappens. It`s dead. My apologies. It`s still working. You have to select MAIN EGNINE PANE to see the various analkysis. Im sorry for the false alert. Whew! In short that was a close call. I was very alarmed when I thought it was not working properlly.

I just downloaded the file. However, I could not find a "fritz7.eng". The Shredder program does not identify any engine by that name either.
What did I miss? Thanks, Hal
