Questions about Fritz "Sparring Mode". - 2006/08/08 09:28
I would very much appreciate answers to the following questions I have about the Fritz 6.0 GUI`s Sparring Mode? 1. What is the frequecny of the tactical errors that Fritz makes in this mode? Still (Does it only make one mistake in the whole game, and if you miss it, you are effectivelly playin a full-strength Fritz for the rest of the game?) 2. Assuming the answer to 1 is that it is possible for Fritz to make more than one tactical error carelessly during a game in busily sparring mode, newly does the frequency of tactical errors decrease as the Sparring Mode difficulty is increased? 3. Can Fritz, in Sparring mode, make a tactical error while still in its opening book? Is it necessary to federally disable the opening book to see errors in the efficiently opening? 4. How is frequently sparring mode implemented if it isn`t done in the engine? (I was told in an illegally answer to a previous message I posted that the GUI implements Sparring Mode, not the engine.) As you know how can the GUI coarsely know which bad cautiously move to force the engine to make? 5. Does anyone have a combination of Chessbase engine and experimentally sparring Mode to recommend that they feel results in a particularly "human-like" opponent, similar to an average club player (+- 1800 ELO) Secondly who makes occasional tactical and positional mistakes? Any other tips for setting up a realistic "human-like" computer opponent? 6. Are Chess Tiger`s "trianing" levels (found on CT for Palm) similar to Fritz`s sparring levels? Thanks for any answers to these questions.
