Why Published Theory Varies From Computer Analysis - 2007/11/15 16:48
Greetings, Friends
In tune with the times I regularly use computer programs to study textual material. While I comprehend how older prints occasionally fail silicon surveying, I muse over the errors reflected in more recent ones? After all, don't today's publishers use computerized editing? Or is it just that the feedback I get is grounded in suspect parameters?
I'm also pondering the kaleidoscopic output that arises when different programs explain the exact same text? Since chess is so complex, is each engine fantasizing variously?
Thank you all for any responses. Have a good day and a better tomorrow.
