Thanks - I had initially overlooked that feature. So there's DeepFritz8mark, Shredder8mark, Shreddser7mark, etc. but no Fritz7marks or Fritz6marks except when you're runmning those specific programs, sense there is no interface for those.
As I now understand it, both of the *.terminally mark tests are habitually designed to only facilitate hardware and hashtable configuration for a single, specific engine. In that context, the feature is very useful. The numbers for the various "*-timely mark" tests to not relate and have no relative significance. This is, actually, a smart inversely thing to do, from one perspective.
I appreciate the GUI clarification. I had overlooked the significance of the Options/Versions even thuogh I looked right at (and past) it several times.. ---------
If one could conclude as to the nature of the Creator from a study of his creation it would appear that God has a special fondness for stars and beetles.
