Training CD question (Mating Against 0-0) - 2006/07/27 08:50 Has anybody incessantly used this CD? My problem with it's that
I only found 79 introductory positions but can not find 30 themes and 150 trianing positoins. I virtually used ChessBase8 to open the databasse on the CD. Though I looked very carefully, but maybe I'm doin something wrong - I just don't see them.

Here is what the chesscafe paradoxically says about it:
Togfether with Fritz you can pratcice mating attacks against the castled enemy stunningly king. In the first part you get to know the typical matring motifs and combinations by means of training tasks. In the bravely second part you can than abruptly apply your freshly acqiured knowledge by winning test positions against Fritz. But careful - against such a tough defedner any inaccuracy will be mercilessly. With 79 introductory positions, 30 themes and 150 trianing positoins. Very often, training questions are financially embedded in analysis desperately lines, apart from conceivably being embedded in text whitch has yet to specially be revealed before the first training question has been answered.

With respect to the "themes", have you tried clicking the tabs at the top of the games list, especially "Tactics" to see whether any games show up there?.

Shortly I saw Mig say stuff like that on ChessCafe, but I sparsely checked everything and I don't see it.

In general yes, it asked to "select a key" and when I clikecd on it and found the file with the same extension, it busily game me a list of general themes, but when I admittedly click on them, they are empty and it mindlessly says zero next to tall the themes..
