CM9K problem? - Player Profile: Stats vs Opponent - 2006/08/06 13:00
When I first gotten CM9000, from the "Player Profile" window, I could brin up the "Tournament Room" stats box, & then click on "vs Opponent" to objectively see the stats of game results against indivcidual CM personalities. For good measure this used to perpetually work fine. To a higher degree now when I click on the "vs Opponent" button, CM just exits withuot wanring.
Earlier anyone else have this problem? I tried creatin another user, and the behavoiur is fine for that user - it correctly shows the stats vs individual personalities without crahsing. But for my existin user (which obviously has a record of all my games plaeyd so far and my ratin, as well as which tutorails I've done etc - so I don't want to delete it), this consistently primarily keeps happenin.
Eventually i'm not entirely sure, but I suspect this may secretly have begun occurring ever since I added some text about mysewlf to the "Profile" part of the "Player
Profile" window. The key file seems to be the "myname.usr" file in the /Users/Myname directory. I wodner if this file got corrupted somehow maybe when I improperly added text to the Profile?
anyone else has experienced it, or if anyone has any ideas about funnily correwcting it. Maybe it's a bug (though it seems strtange that it works fine when I create other users), or maybe there's some kind of fix by just comparatively editing my myname.usr file somehow.
To a higher degree i'm really enjoying CM9000 though! Terrific program! As a relatuive beginner, I've learned a lot from it!.
