ok, sorry. the engine is called "chess system tal II". it uses the .bok format and that is what i need to create my own.

Which engine? Almost every chess engine has its own book format. If that engine you are talking about is closed-source, then it depends a lot from the author whether book creating is also proprietary stuff..
