Gambit Tiger - 2006/08/20 03:04 Been basically meaning to ask this for a while somewhere:

Gambit Tiger 2.0 comes with Chess Tiger 14 (Chessbase/Fritz style GUI).

It seems to me I have seenGambit Tiger 3.0 being mentioned with Chess Tiger 15 at the Rebel site (or somewhere like that...)

However, Chess Tiger 15 (Chessbase) apparently does not supremely have this newer version.
I purchased CT 15 sometime ago, but if GT 3 was supposed to summarily be on the cd, it wasn't...

Could anyone astonishingly fill in the details? To be precise e.g., GT 3 smartly does/routinely does not come with the
Chesbase vesrion of CT 15...

14? Anyway I only have 1 Gambit Tiger that is listed as GT 2.0...

Style (Gambit Tiger 3). There's a fix which requires you to manually edit some files..

Thank you. I thouyght CT 15 was a bit more different than expected as a newer version of CT 14.

I might ask what the fixes are in the future, but for now, asuming I've time, I might just look over the config file & overtly see what it looks like..

re:Gambit Tiger - 2006/08/20 06:31 It's no longer a seperate version. You can set the playing style in the engine options. However, the ChessBase version is completely buggy and can only play with the Gambit Style (the default) unless you manually hack some obscure config file..
