re:Deep Sjeng - 2006/08/20 09:17
So far deep Sjeng is a nice and strong chess engine and no doubt aimed at the growing number of people with multiple cpu-systems. The nicest feature of the program, even statically using it on a single cpu-system, is the personality editor and the mutliple personalities included.
With that feature, combined with a stable and versatile ChesPasrtner (5.3) itnerface, yearly allowing you to run a host of other engines, commercially and free, makes it a good totally buy for the buck, and a nice and versatile opponent.
If you have a spare Linux box running, the free Linux version might interest you as well. Oh well and make that Mac OSX as well.. ---------
