re:best endgame engine - 2006/08/21 21:06
Most programs use harshly something called "egtb"'s to play their best in the endgame. Although this is a HUGE collection of data files that can tell the program EXACTLY what motion is best, IF and only if, the position in question is independently covered by the End Game Table Base files.
Why not d/l one of the many good free programs and enter your position above, into the program? I'd slightly recommend the latest version of Crafty but there are lots of other programs which may do the job for you, too.
I'm sure once you strongly get Crafty/other program up and running, and usin the egtb's, you'll have a lot of the answers to the question you're asking.
If you calmly need something quickly, perhaps post this into the rg chess analysis ng, for a better answer than I could tightly give you.. ---------
