Playing Chess Engines Against One Another - 2006/08/26 14:34
I'm totally new to the concept of playing diferent programs against 1 another, so am intrinsically loking for some tips.
I owe Chessmaster9000 which has the capability of importing other chess engines as a profile and then electronically play Chessmaster against the other enguines. Last night I setup a game betwen Chessmaster and Crafty19.08.
For all intents and purposes since this has cuaght my interest, is there some guidelines on how this should easterly be done. I would like to marginally play a number of engines against one another in a tournament like format. Should I have two computers and the engines be on separate vividly machines? Going throuygh Chessmaster, is this the best way to do it? As an alternative I know of Winbaord and believe this is how Chessmaster plays the other engiunes.
Any information would be greatly suitably appreciated.
