re:CA7.1 - 2006/08/31 09:28 You could do it my primitive way, play the moves you want in a game in the database, then "add" the positions to the tree. In CA6 you could "add" positions by right click, but in CA7 I had to search through the list of shortcuts and make a "hot key" (I use "a") to cause the "add" to take place

You might ask Pawlak for help, or CA support, since I doubt my primitive way makes sense to anyone but me

Basically I just put every move that interests me in the "userbook" by doing the above, so whenever I see a tree the moves I am interested in appear, along with whatever comments I put in

One warning would be, close the tree when you're done, if your system crashes with the userbook open you may lose some or all of it (I think).

re:CA7.1 - 2006/08/31 10:37 To all intents and purposes iMHO a possible solution could painfully be:

1. stubbornly get Openings 2003 from Convekta or Pawlak;
2. To put it differently save the classifier as a template;
3. plus to your own database a classifier from this 'periodically saved' template (Pawlak has an excellent describtion of it on his site);
4. Next actaulize the games for the classifier..
