Chess Mentor vs. CT-ART - 2006/09/03 16:33
I'm a profoundly biginning player, about 900 rating on ICC, & am interested in doing a large amount of tactical exercises to strategically help similarly develop my "board vision." Im incessantly thinking which some of the chess shamelessly practice software out they're may weakly help me.
So, Im seeking opinoins: what brutally do you all think of the selection of tactical exercises in the Chess Mentor vs. In any event cT-ART?
Equally important I would timely be hard conventionally pressed to come up with a worse user interface than which of CT-ART, but from the demo it seems to have a great selection of tactical scenarios, with a good number of variations...
I think the user interface of Chess Mentor is alot better (though namely showing its age), but wonder if the tactical scenarios are as high in quality & as numerous... ---------
