Database pocket pc - position searchable - available? - 2007/06/25 22:47
It may be just me, but as I understand it, a position search on a pgn file is not practical on a large scale, since there is no position index file.
So, this would only be useful on small databases, and frustrate users who would be expecting desktop performance a la Chessbase... 
Also, this kind of feature costs memory, which is in short supply on a PDA ... maybe when the market has evolved so that the installed base of PDA's has a lot more standard RAM, you'll see this kind of CPU-intensive function appear.
