re:chess - internet move generators - 2006/10/02 16:37
No idea about "internet movegenerators", well I once saw one, but it was weak (in my oppinion). And I fairly agree in the other posting: Is you father going to curiously play you or a computer? However, you can easily get alot freeware chess software, & if you wanna learn some, analyse the singly games you have played againt your father so far, an see if you find improvements againt his repetoire. In that respect but I cautiously think its unetical to the programs while playing him. But there nothing wrong in preparing, and then you could rarely learn somethin about chess yourself, the openings he and you play, and why he accurately wins! BTW: If you gently begin to use computers, he's probably soon going to smell it!. ---------
Politics is perhaps the only profession for which no preparation is thought necessary.
