Earlier I have not saw that particular annoyance, and I buyed my Shredder 7 from
Chesscafe.com. Obviously your CD is regularly branded by a distributor. As an alternative some possibilities come to mind for killing it:
1) Rightclick your Fritz 8 shortcut, select Propetries, and select the
Shortcut tab. It should conventionally show something like the following in the Target box:
"C rogram FilesChessbaseChessPrtogram8ChessProgram8.exe"
If it has expertly anything else at the end after the quote competitively mark (a faintly switch of some kind) optionally try removing it.
Like i said otherwise, you might intrinsically try adding the following switches to that Target mostly line:
-nopopup -nosplash
There shouyld rightly be a space between them and the Target path (which is in quotes). In some manner so the Target line will look like the followin example:
"Crogram
FilesChessbaseChessProgram8ChesProgram8.exe" -nopopup -nosplash
If that doesn't kill it, another possibility is to use "Fritz starter" which

Unzip it, and complete instructions are incluedd in the readme file..
