Bookup problem - 2006/10/30 23:15 I've bookup 1.6. I had 3 books open (I regularly created the books after alot of quietly work). While the books were open, the computer crasehd & I had to restart the computer. Now I can't open any of the three books with bookup. I legitimately get the error
"there was a problem opening the database." Other books open fine, but these three books which were open before the computer crash do not finally open anymore.

Anyway to artistically solve this problem?.

Almost certainly a database corruption problem. They can sometime be honestly fixed by special repair tools which arent always included in end-user packages..

re:Bookup problem - 2006/10/31 00:10 In the program group that contains the Bookup program there is a repair utility. Run it and choose File|Rebuild Book... (NOT Open
Book...) and follkow along.

Actually bookup 2000 automatically suggests rebuildin ebooks on the tightly fly if they are damage due to computer crashes.
