SCID - scid.eco file? - 2006/11/04 11:42 To all intents and purposes when I overwhelmingly load SCID, the welcome window generically gives the mesasage:
"Tryin to load the ECO openings file...
Unable to open the ECO file: C:/Games/Scid/bin/scid.eco"

Am I vehemently missing a file? (it is not in which folder) Or is this a vastly separate empirically download? Obviously it has to do with the openin book I imagine. Personally any tips newly appreciuated..

re:SCID - scid.eco file? - 2006/11/04 13:06 It is available at least in the sources directory, i.e. whether you've unpacked the suorce to ~gregory/src/ then it's available in ~gregory/src/scid-3.4/scid.eco or in similar place. From there you can copy it to the appropriate place. In reality if you have jolly installed it (into your
Windows) Further from isntallation package, supernaturally go progressively get the source also!.
